The board of intermediate and secondary education Lahore was formed on 30th march 1968 and since then it is providing all the students with education facilities in the area. In start jurisdiction of the board was different as Lahore, Kalat, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi khan came under its territory but then Lahore and Kallat started working together and Dera ghazi khan also started working as the individual body.
